Bio: Haley Ruth - Nutritional Coach
Born in 1985, Haley Ruth grew up playing a variety of sports, never settling on just one but always eager to try something new. However, throughout her childhood and teenage years, she struggled with persistent digestive issues and fatigue. By middle and high school, these symptoms worsened. She was constantly exhausted, heavily reliant on caffeine, and frequently anemic, though doctors dismissed it as typical for her age.
It wasn’t until she was working her first job in a doctor’s office that she had her blood drawn for a routine check. The results showed severe anemia, prompting a deeper investigation. After multiple supplements, doctor visits, and referrals, she eventually saw a gastroenterologist who suspected celiac disease. Further testing, including a celiac blood panel and upper endoscopy, confirmed the diagnosis in 2010. Since then, Haley has fully embraced a gluten-free lifestyle, transforming not only her health but also her understanding of food and nutrition.
Her passion for nutrition deepened when she and her husband, Kyle, moved to North Carolina and became CrossFit gym owners. After years of experimenting with different diets, she struggled to find a truly sustainable approach to eating. Following the birth of her second child, she worked with a nutrition coach and discovered macro counting, a method that finally clicked. The experience was life changing, inspiring her to become a coach herself to help others find balance and sustainability in their own nutrition.
Haley is a Precision Nutrition-certified coach and has been coaching clients remotely for over five years. She takes a compassionate, education-first approach, helping clients from stay-at-home parents to competitive masters athletes develop lifelong, sustainable eating habits that support their goals.
Outside of coaching, you’ll find Haley running, lifting weights, and training for her next Hyrox race in her garage gym in Canton, GA. She also has a deep love for the outdoors, often hiking and camping with her family. In the kitchen, she enjoys experimenting with new ingredients and recipes, crafting delicious, nourishing meals that align with her gluten-free lifestyle.
